Mark Manson, author of, “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*CK: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life”, indicates the following, which is especially eye opening and important for all of us to really think about, “… Death confronts us all with a far more painful and important question: What is your legacy? How will the world be different and better when you’re gone? What mark will you have made? What influence will you have caused? They say that a butterfly flapping its wings in Africa can cause a hurricane in Florida; well, what hurricanes will you leave in your wake?”
No better person exemplifies the above message then Martin Luther King, Jr.
A historical figure who I admire most is Martin Luther King Jr (MLK). He changed the world with his leadership, determination, and passion. These characteristics, when displayed correctly, create a strong force.
Many workers are off Monday (1/20/20) thanks to MLK. Enjoy your day off, but always remember the sacrifice that others, like Martin Luther King Jr. made for our country and the world. Please feel free to check out my blog from last year about Martin Luther King, Jr. https://www.allthingzap.com/post/mlk-leadership-determination-passion, which includes the complete video of the famous "I have a dream" speech and the text.
